Parke Heritage kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in four consecutive contests.
Parke Heritage's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Terre Haute North Vigo, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.
Monday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Terre Haute North Vigo has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447. However, it's not like Parke Heritage struggles in that department as they've averaged .455. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Terre Haute North Vigo took their victory against Parke Heritage in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
