Football Recap: Bellaire Falls Despite Big Games from Michael Dippel and Kole Gonglik

Bellaire lost against St. Clairsville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Big Reds fell 21-14 to the Red Devils. While the Big Reds had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Red Devils 7-0.

Kole Gonglik and Michael Dippel certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Gonglik picked up 113 receiving yards and a pair of scores, while Dippel threw for 211 yards and two touchdowns.

Bellaire has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for St. Clairsville, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Bellaire has already played their next contest, a 29-26 defeat against Harrison Central on the 10th. As for St. Clairsville, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 24-15 loss against Bloom-Carroll on the 10th.
