Baseball Recap: Cumberland Takes a Loss

Barron hit Cumberland with a five-run sixth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Beavers came up short against the Golden Bears, falling 12-3. The Beavers just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Cumberland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Uriah Johnson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Cumberland's loss dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Barron, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season.
