Basketball Game Preview: Mountain Crest Mustangs vs. Sky View Bobcats

Mountain Crest is 2-8 against Sky View since January of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Mountain Crest Mustangs will look to defend their home court against the Sky View Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Crest is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season.

Mountain Crest is headed into Wednesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They fell 58-49 to Bear River. While the Mustangs didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bears 18-12 in the first quarter.

Despite the loss, Mountain Crest saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Noah Cardon posted 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Andrus, who scored ten points.

Meanwhile, Sky View also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to West Field by a score of 62-50.

Sky View has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Mountain Crest, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15.
