Basketball Recap: Worth County Gets the Win

Fitzgerald came into Tuesday's match looking for another win against Worth County, but ASHTON WILLIAMS wouldn't allow it. The Worth County Rams walked away with an 83-76 win over the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane on Tuesday thanks in part to WILLIAMS, who posted 46 points. His evening made it 18 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Worth County's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Fitzgerald, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-4 record this season.

Worth County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Thomasville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Fitzgerald, they will head out to square off against Berrien at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fitzgerald is facing Berrien at the right time seeing as Berrien is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
