Basketball Recap: Neuse Christian Academy Snaps Eight-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Neuse Christian Academy won the last time they faced Friendship Christian, and Lyla Lindstrom did her part to make sure it happened again. The Neuse Christian Academy Lions came out on top against the Friendship Christian Falcons by a score of 41-33 on Thursday thanks in part to Lindstrom, who posted 22 points and six steals. Her evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Morgan Little, who had seven points along with six rebounds and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.

Neuse Christian Academy's victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-7. As for Friendship Christian, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the defeat, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

Neuse Christian Academy and St. Thomas More Academy will face off at 4:45 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Friendship Christian, they and Thales Academy Rolesville will face off at 5:15 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
