Football Recap: New Bedford Comes Up Short

New Bedford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Quincy Presidents, falling 33-7. The Whalers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Presidents apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2016.

New Bedford's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Quincy, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. New Bedford will host Barnstable at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Whalers will need to watch out since the Red Hawks have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Quincy, they will be playing at home against Plymouth South at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Presidents' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
