Baseball Recap: Community Christian Academy Beats Jackson Day for Their Seventh Straight Win

Community Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Jackson Day Mariners. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by exactly ten runs.

Cole Richardson made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one triple, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Community Christian Academy got a big performance out of Mason Maltba, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Jayce Martin was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one stolen base.
