The West Rowan Falcons will take on the East Rowan Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as West Rowan comes in on ten and East Rowan on three.
On Thursday, West Rowan made easy work of Central Cabarrus and carried off a 12-2 victory. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.
Brant Graham and Cole Blevins made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Graham didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Blevins pitched two innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. What's more, he posted five strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. At bat, Graham got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while Blevins got on base in two of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

In other batting news, Maddox Moore was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eli Graham, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
West Rowan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Central Cabarrus only posted a batting average of .304.
East Rowan came out on top against Lake Norman Charter on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Mustangs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Knights 7-6.
Brady Ailshie looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, East Rowan let Krys Hernandez and Hunter Goodman run wild. Hernandez went 2-for-3 with three runs, while Goodman went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Harrison Ailshie was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run.
West Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 19-3. As for East Rowan, their win bumped their record up to 18-4.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. West Rowan has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.4 hits per game. However, it's not like East Rowan struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
