Basketball Recap: Milaca Takes a Loss

Milaca lost against Proctor back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Milaca Wolves took a 59-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Proctor Rails.

Milaca's loss dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Proctor, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Milaca will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sauk Centre at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Proctor and Watertown-Mayer will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Proctor's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
