After only one run in their last matchup, Stephenville made sure to put some runs up on the board against Mineral Wells on Friday. Stephenville was the clear victor by a 10-3 margin over Mineral Wells. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Yellow Jackets/Honeybees also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Ava Williamson tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Fallan Everett was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, seven RBI, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Matti-Lynn Dunnam, who scored three runs.

Stephenville's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-10-1. As for Mineral Wells, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
