Volleyball Recap: St. Cecilia Academy Takes a Loss

St. Cecilia Academy lost against Brentwood Academy back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Scarabs came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-7.

Brentwood Academy found their leader in sophomore Harper Broyles, who had 11 digs and three assists. Broyles has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 13 times she's played.

St. Cecilia Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

St. Cecilia Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Franklin Christian Academy on the 21st. As for Brentwood Academy, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Innovation Academy on the 23rd.
