Softball Recap: McLane Comes Up Short

McLane fell victim to Clovis West and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 6-0 to the Golden Eagles. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Highlanders were not able to get on the board.

This is the second loss in a row for McLane and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Clovis West, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, McLane will challenge Edison at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clovis West, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, an 11-0 victory against Encinal on the 14th.
