Basketball Recap: Dayspring Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Redeemer Classical

Dayspring Christian Academy was forced to take a big defeat against Redeemer Classical on Saturday, they got the better of them on Saturday. The Lions claimed a resounding 75-46 victory over the Griffins. The game marked the Lions' most dominant win of the season so far.

Several Griffins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Samuel Peters, who posted 15 points along with six boards and four steals. The matchup was Peters' third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Cameron Kerns, who earned nine points and seven rebounds.

Dayspring Christian Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Redeemer Classical, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, Dayspring Christian Academy will welcome Christian Heritage Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Lions' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Redeemer Classical, they will head out on the road to square off against Massanutten Military Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
