Bel Air came into Saturday's contest having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Alamogordo Tigers 52-32 on Saturday. The Highlanders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Alyssa Saldana, who went 7 for 15 on her way to 17 points and five steals. Jayde Martinez was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Bel Air was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Bel Air now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Alamogordo, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Bel Air wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 45-37 win against Hanks on the 10th. As for Alamogordo, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 63-35 loss against Los Lunas on the 10th.
