League recap: Spur bests Kress in blowout

Spur took down Kress 55-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Petersburg led 1A 6 Man 1 Region I District 2 (6 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 75 points on Paducah.

Paducah's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Dragons feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Cody Austin has thrown for 436 yards and seven touchdowns this season, while Austin Parton has 15 catches for 476 yards. Oscar Mathis leads the league in rushing with 797 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Kangaroos take on Valley. As it stands, Kress is in fifth, while the Patriots are in second.
