Recap: First Coast Christian Knights vs. Eagle's View Warriors

The First Coast Christian Knights suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by Eagle's View 55-10. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points First Coast Christian has scored all season.

Eagle's View got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayda Parker out in front who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it nine consecutive games in which Parker has scored at least a third of Eagle's View's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Wilson, who scored 17 points along with five steals.

First Coast Christian bumped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.3 points per game. As for Eagle's View, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Coast Christian will take on Baldwin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eagle's View, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Covenant School of Jacksonville at 5:30 p.m. on January 16th. Covenant School of Jacksonville is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
