The Liberty Lancers will challenge the Colfax Bulldogs at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.

Liberty's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Saturday's struggle, when Inchelium hitters got past them. The Lancers came up short against the Hornets on Saturday, falling 19-4. The loss was the Lancers' first of the season.

Jordyn Jeske made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Colfax was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-6 heartbreaker at the hands of Warden.

Having lost for the first time this season, Liberty fell to 6-1. As for Colfax, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.

Liberty skirted past Colfax 4-2 when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
