Volleyball Recap: Bishop McCort Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bishop McCort managed to slip by Marion Center the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Crushers came up short against the Stingers on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

While Bishop McCort was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-23, 25-19.

When it comes to explaining why Bishop McCort lost, don't look at Emma Preuss. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and two aces. Preuss is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Olivia Urban, who had 17 assists and five digs.

Bishop McCort's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-18-3. As for Marion Center, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
