Baseball Game Preview: Wakeland Wolverines vs. Argyle Eagles

The Wakeland Wolverines will head out on the road to challenge the Argyle Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Wakeland fell victim to McKinney Boyd and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Broncos, falling 8-0.

Wakeland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cruz Veloz, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, Argyle is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Weatherford on Saturday, but Weatherford came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 10-8 victory over the Kangaroos.

Wakeland now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Argyle, their win bumped their record up to 4-0.
