Basketball Game Preview: St. Henry Crusaders vs. Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts

St. Henry and Lloyd Memorial are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The St. Henry Crusaders will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Lloyd Memorial Juggernauts at 7:30 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: St. Henry has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Lloyd Memorial will arrive with four straight wins.

Last Friday, St. Henry ended up a good deal behind Conner and lost 85-68. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Cougars are ranked 32nd).

Meanwhile, Lloyd Memorial got the win against Beechwood on Saturday by a conclusive 67-43. The Juggernauts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

St. Henry's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Lloyd Memorial, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-6.
