Basketball Recap: Alia Baldassano Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat George Washington

Alta's game on Saturday was all tied up 19-19 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They took down the George Washington Patriots 42-23. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hawks.

Alta got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alia Baldassano out in front who posted 11 points. Quincy Kegel was another key player, putting up nine points.

The win got Alta back to even at 5-5. As for George Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alta will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Murray at 2:30 p.m. on December 31st. Alta is facing Murray at the right time seeing as Murray is stuck on a four-game losing streak. George Washington will also get a bit of a break before their next match: they'll face off against ThunderRidge at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
