After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jackson, Central was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 54-14 victory over the Farmington Knights on the road. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six games by 35 points or more so far this season.

Keyshawn Boyd continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 238 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 14.9 yards per carry. His longest rush was for an incredible 94 yards. Zai'Aire Thomas also helped out as he racked up 109 rushing yards.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Central was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 463 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Farmington lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Josh Mccarthy, who rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown. Mccarthy's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Brett Drye, who rushed for 59 yards.

Central's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-1. As for Farmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
