Soccer Recap: Tough Loss for Purdue Polytechnic

Purdue Polytechnic lost against Herron on October 2, 2025, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Techies lost 9-4 to the Achaeans. While losing is never fun, Purdue Polytechnic can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 241st, while Herron are ranked 110th).

Purdue Polytechnic has now lost three of their last four games at home. That's done some real damage to their 5-5-1 record this season. As for Herron, they have now won six of their last seven games on the road. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-2 record this season.

Looking ahead, Purdue Polytechnic will venture away from home to challenge Indianapolis Arsenal Technical at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Herron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
