Putnam Heights Academy won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Thursday. They were outmatched by the Wynnewood Savages and fell 59-21. Having soared to a lofty 55 points in the game before, Putnam Heights Academy couldn't push the score so high this time.

Putnam Heights Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Wynnewood, they moved to 1-3 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Putnam Heights Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wynona at 7:00 p.m. on January 28, 2025. As for Wynnewood, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 81-64 loss against Harding Fine Arts on the 13th.
