Nicholas Hines Game Report: vs Downers Grove South

Lyons had to settle for second on Saturday, but Nicholas Hines sure wasn't going down easily. Hines wasn't messing around, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off three hits. The pitching appearance was his fourth straight with one or fewer earned runs.

Looking ahead, Hines and Lyons will take on Proviso West at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Hines' big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Lions' three-game streak of wins at home.
