Basketball Recap: Lac qui Parle Valley Takes a Loss

Lac qui Parle Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Minneota Vikings. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-44 back in January.

Lac qui Parle Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-17. As for Minneota, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-13 record this season.

Lac qui Parle Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Minneota, they will square off against MACCRAY at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. MACCRAY knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matches -- so hopefully Minneota likes a good challenge.
