Basketball Recap: Make It 25 in a Row for Hazen

Hazen put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 57-23 win over the Bellows Free Academy Bullets. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 34 points or more this season.

Hazen's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.6 points per game. As for Bellows Free Academy, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Hazen will host Winooski at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hazen's defense has only allowed 26.7 points per game this season, so Winooski's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Bellows Free Academy, they will challenge Stowe at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Bellows Free Academy is facing Stowe at the right time seeing as Stowe is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
