Pittsburg put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Field Kindley Golden Tornado a 15-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Purple Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Pittsburg's victory bumped their record up to 5-0.

Looking ahead, Pittsburg will square off against Fort Scott at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Field Kindley will be paying especially close attention to the Purple Dragons' contest: after the Purple Dragons face off against the Tigers, they'll take on Field Kindley again at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
