Fort Defiance's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged out the Stuarts Draft Cougars 10-9. That's more bragging rights for the Indians, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Fort Defiance has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Stuarts Draft, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-5.

Coincidentally, Fort Defiance and Stuarts Draft will both be playing Wilson Memorial the next time they take the field. The Indians will head out to face the Green Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
