Volleyball Recap: Arbor View Finds Home Court Redemption Against Desert Oasis

There's no place like home for Arbor View, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks on Tuesday. The Aggies haven't had any issues with the Diamondbacks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Arbor View had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-18, 25-21, 25-23.

Arbor View found their leader in freshman Marc Jordan Morre, who had 23 digs and six aces. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Morre.

Arbor View was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They are a perfect 7-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Arbor View pushed their record up to 16-13 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Desert Oasis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-14.

Looking ahead, Arbor View will welcome Coronado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Aggies surely won't give up without a fight. As for Desert Oasis, they are taking a road trip to face off against Silverado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
