Baseball Recap: Manheim Central Triumphs

Manheim Central won the last time they faced Warwick and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Barons walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Warriors. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Barons.

Hunter Garber was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brody Groff, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Manheim Central's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Warwick, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manheim Central will head out to face off against Cocalico at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Barons are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Warwick, they will head out on the road to challenge Elizabethtown at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
