Baseball Game Preview: Harvard Hornets vs. Richmond-Burton Rockets

Harvard is 0-10 against Richmond-Burton since April of 2021 but things could change on Saturday. The Hornets will be playing at home against the Rockets at 10:00 a.m. Harvard has given up an average of 10.1 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Harvard lost 25-5 to Guilford on Thursday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Logan Nulle made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Meanwhile, Richmond-Burton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 11-10 heartbreaker at the hands of Johnsburg. On the bright side, the ten- run performance marked the Rockets' highest-scoring contest to date.

Harvard's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Richmond-Burton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Harvard couldn't quite get it done against Richmond-Burton when the teams last played back in April of 2024 as they fell 9-4. Can the Hornets avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
