Basketball Recap: Northside Takes a Loss

Northside had lost three straight on the road, but on Thursday they dropped down to 8-6 to make it four. They took a blow against the Munday Moguls, falling 70-29. Having soared to a lofty 66 points in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Munday, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 24 points or more this season.

Munday's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caisen Lee, who went 7-for-10 en route to 20 points. Lee is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 54% in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Jariyis Williams, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds.

Looking ahead, Northside will be playing at home against Knox City at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians will be up against the Greyhounds' rather soft defense (which has allowed 49.89 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Munday, they will square off against Crowell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
