Basketball Recap: College Park Academy Drops Season-High Score on Potomac

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask College Park Academy). They blew past the Potomac Wolverines 61-36 on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for College Park Academy considering their 19-point performance the game before.

College Park Academy picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-11. As for Potomac, they dropped their record down to 1-9 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. College Park Academy will venture away from home to challenge Fairmont Heights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Potomac, they are taking a road trip to face off against Gwynn Park at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Gwynn Park will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Potomac surely won't give up without a fight.
