Basketball Recap: Independence Comes Up Short

Independence was the 63-62 winner over Bishop Hartley when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Independence 76ers had to suffer through a 74-21 loss at the hands of the Bishop Hartley Hawks. The matchup marked the 76ers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Independence is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20. As for Bishop Hartley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5.

Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Hartley, they have already played their next game, an 83-41 victory against Centennial on the 21st.
