In what's become a running theme this season, Malden gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Charleston Bluejays as the Malden Green Wave made off with an 18-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Malden.
Alyssa Broom made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out six over five innings pitched. Broom has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Broom was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with three RBI.
