Orem had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Uintah Utes as they made off with a 22-3 win. The Tigers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Beckett Hendry tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Chase Ford, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Jones, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Orem was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .565. They are 8-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Orem's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Uintah, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.
