Volleyball Game Preview: Barnstable Red Hawks vs. Winchester Red & Black

The Barnstable Red Hawks will take on the Winchester Red & Black at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Barnstable turned things around against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional on Friday. They put the hurt on the Dolphins with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Barnstable walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-19, 25-12, 25-18.

Barnstable's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Molly Colantuono led the charge by getting seven digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Winchester got the win against Belmont on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The Red & Black haven't had any issues with the Marauders recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Winchester's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Barnstable, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
