Hudsonville waltzed into their contest on Saturday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They put the hurt on the Zeeland East Chix with a sharp 12-4 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 games by six runs or more this season.

Hudsonville got a great performance from Brayden Muir as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Muir has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Braylon Miller, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Xavier Sullivan, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Hudsonville pushed their record up to 30-7-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Zeeland East, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-10 record this season.
