Newark Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Sophie Chard Peloquin, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most boards Chard Peloquin has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Leah Caudill, who went 5 of 7 on her way to 11 points and five rebounds.

Watkins Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Newark Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.
