After a string of four wins, Algonquin Regional's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 54-46 to the Leominster Blue Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Titans of the 59-49 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Algonquin Regional's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Leominster, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Algonquin Regional will square off against Wachusett Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Leominster, they will take on Shrewsbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
