Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stanberry). They took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 59-25 victory over the Tina-Avalon Dragons. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Stanberry's victory bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Tina-Avalon, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stanberry will square off against East Buchanan at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Stanberry is facing East Buchanan at the right time seeing as East Buchanan is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Tina-Avalon, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Higbee at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th.
