Volleyball Recap: Beatrice Takes a Loss

Beatrice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the York Dukes. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-11.

Despite the loss, Beatrice still got an impressive performance from Kara Schuster, who had 18 digs.

Beatrice's defeat dropped their record down to 4-15. As for York, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-10.

Beatrice wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Westview on the 4th. As for York, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Seward on the 2nd.
