Volleyball Recap: Ja'zarie Davis and Emily Amador Secure Win for Harvey

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cleveland Heights, Harvey was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Richmond Heights Spartans 3-0. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Red Raiders this season.

Harvey not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Richmond Heights between 20 and 21 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-20.

Harvey was led to victory by Emily Amador and Ja'Zarie Davis. Amador had eight digs and four aces, while Davis had six digs and four aces. That's the most digs Davis has posted since back in September of 2024.

Harvey now has a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harvey will take on Wickliffe at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richmond Heights, they will square off against Harding at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
