Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scott Central). Their defense stepped up to hand the Puckett Wolves a 49-0 shutout on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rebels considering their seven-point performance the contest before.

Scott Central's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Puckett, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Scott Central will face off against Leake Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each matchup than the last. As for Puckett, they will take on Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
