After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rossville, Clinton Prairie was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Tipton Blue Devils by a score of 5-1. The win continues a trend for the Gophers in their matchups with the Blue Devils: they've now won four in a row.

Maddy Wessell spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Clara Coleman, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Clinton Prairie's victory bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Tipton, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.
