Salem can finally bid farewell to their 15-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 64-50 victory over the Mitchell Bluejackets. The Lions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Salem's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Mitchell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem will head out to square off against New Washington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Salem is facing New Washington at the right time seeing as New Washington is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Mitchell will take on North Knox in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
