Football Recap: Liberty Bison vs. Hesperia Scorpions
Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 24-14 to the Hesperia Scorpions.
Zamar Malveaux continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hesperia, rushing for 228 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.4 yards per carry, and also picking up 47 receiving yards.
Liberty now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Hesperia, their win bumped their record up to an identical 2-3.
Liberty will face off against Vista del Lago at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Vista del Lago will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Liberty surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hesperia, they will square off against Oak Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oak Hills' defense has only allowed 16.2 points per game this season, so Hesperia's offense will have their work cut out for them.
