Baseball Recap: McLoud Comes Up Short

McLoud managed to slip by Ada the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. McLoud lost 11-1 to Ada on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Redskins have suffered against the Cougars since March 8, 2022.

McLoud saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Austin Albertson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Albertson is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

McLoud's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Ada, the win keeps they at an undefeated 4-0.

While McLoud had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
